parent knows best because they are the people who knows us more than anyone ever could. they are the very person who are responsible for us being in this world. everything that we do will reflect what they have taught us. from my own experience, whenever i do not listen to them something bad will happen to me. if i want to go out with my friends but i do not have my parents' consent, i'd rather abandon my friends than not listen to my parents. all the news in the newspaper about teenagers dying outside is because they don't listen to their parents when they go out. like one teeneager who died when he was cycling at night with his friends, it is said that his mother did not allow him to go with his friends but he didn't hid their decision so he suffered the consequences. so therefore i should say that parent knows best and you can never be safe if they say that you are not safe.
the things that i discuss with my parents are some personal things with my mother and sports with my father. i discuss personal things like relationships and the stressness of my life which explains my white hair. the things i discuss with my father are sports and nothing personal because he can be quite angry with personal stuffs. i discuss with him about golf and every week we go play golf with each other. me and him are like best buddies and my mum is the best friend that i can ever wish to have. a friend that does not let out my secrets and a friend that gives useful and meaningful advices to me. so these are the things that i discuss with my parents.
