For me,parents sometimes knows best and sometimes do not.For example if we are to avoid bad influence by our friends and confused in making decisions,parents can come in the picture and help us.We cannot make all our decisions on our own as that might just destroy ourselves.They understand us best and its all just a matter of communication.We can choose our friends on our own but if it gets to far,parents have to make the decision for us. However,i agree that parents are sometimes irritating.They would want us to do whatever we don't intend to do and ended up doing something we don't like.Its like our future is all on them.They would nag like there's no tomorrow and we wouldn't get to choose for ourselves.
About teenagers,they don't exactly tell their provlems to parents,just like myself.I have to admit that i only tell my minor problems to them.The major ones are still inside of my head and it feels like exploding anytime now.Its just about communication and i quite suck at it.For example if someone wants to beat you up,you won't go running to your parents,rite?You would stand up for yourself,u noe wat i'm sayin'...
